Improved efficiency in our customers’ everyday life

In 2016 eflow|Booking & Workflow was launched via Baden-Jensen A/S, the paint supplier, for the car painters in the Danish market. eflow A/S wished to offer the car painters a digital tool, which could improve the efficiency of the everyday life in the workshop.

Prior to the launch there had, of course, been a lot of research and development, for which reason eflow A/S started cooperating with a digital agency concerning design and development.

In order to gain an insight into the everyday life of the target group, developers from the agency visited a number of car painters in Denmark. During these visits they realized how much time the car painters spent every day coordinating tasks and ensuring that jobs were completed in time. Furthermore, through interviews they found out that the car painters were eager to minimize the daily administration work so that they would be able to help with the practical chores in the workshop.

The agency then started to develop and design a digital system, which would minimize manual typing work and automate as many working day functions as possible. The goal was to create a simple and intuitive digital system, which would support the mindset of the car painter and be easily accessible for everyone in the workshop. Thus, eflow is proud to declare that the digital tool has been developed by car painters for car painters.

The digital tool is under constant development, which has taken the system to where it is today. And where it used to be a booking and workflow system only, it has now developed into a complete business system.

To meet the future development, the system has recently been redesigned. This process has resulted in a name change as well as development of new applications, which can be found under eflow.

In this way the original eflow|Booking & Workflow system was renamed Workflow. Furthermore, a new application saw the light of day – i.e. Inventory – a digital stock management system.

Agile system development

The reason for the development process for eflow and its applications is agility. We constantly aim to make our digital systems secure maximum value for our users.

We listen to the needs of our users and develop our systems accordingly. The ideas for development are being assessed in order to ascertain that they will create value for all our users. If so, we start working on them immediately, so that a new version with the latest functions may be launched for our users as fast as possible.
